Just alot of ******** you ask me. Can't say I am impressed. First of all, you have to type name and password to first get in (even on 98 pc's), and you can only mount 1 volume, you have to reconnect to mount another one.
When you are on a lan party with 200 other pc's, you don't want to type this everytime, and then get 200 shared discs on the desktop (or in "Computer"), isn't to cool. And say one PC guy restarts his machine, without telling me, Jaguar will crash (or wait for 10 minuts) THE BEACHBALL OF DEATH.
If you want real smb (windows lan), I would recommend Mac OS 9 and Dave. Mac OS X and Dave is also good (but no browsing, without connecting to the server).
Not once (!!) have I managed to get a pc to connect to my machine, not even through ftp. When the mac appear on the pc, you are not allowed to write a user name or password (not in 95,98 and ME). Dave made this possible, Dave rules.
One other thing, ever tried to copy a large file from SMB pc to your HD, haha funny. Finder crashes !! And no file. Get SNAX then it works, and quit the finder (you must the "Dave Browser" to mount).
Mostly all the Windows I talk about is 98 or ME., don't know how it works in NT based systems.
As I said, it sucks.
