internet via satellit?

hi there

i'd like to change my internet provider to an internet satelit... using a phone modem is pretty ****, and i don't have the possibility to get a cable connection. does anyone know if there is a provider for europe? especially for austria? i looked for it in the net, but all i coould find were some for the states...
using a g4/450 shouldn't be a problem, or? (software... **** the windows world!)

I've heard of telestra for AUS. don't know of anything for europe, but it probably exists.

however, every two-way satellite service I've read about is PC-only. You can share the connection with Macs from the PC, but the modems used are usb into the PC, and work with only PC.

looks like it's all PC, but maybe you'll luck out and find a DVB card that works w/ the G4 somehow�
