Well, I have the same hardware as you but I dont use PPPoE to log into the internet via ADSL. I use another method that doens't require me to enter a password and username.... etc etc...
Anyways, when I first set up the Linksys Access Point/Router, it couldn't obtain any IP address from the ISP's DHCP server. Finally got it to work by changing the MAC address of the router so that it follows the same MAC as my PC (Which was working perfectly before).
You might want to give it a try. The setting is in the "advanced" tab of 192.168.1.1 and the item called "Mac Addr. Clone".
