I just got off the phone with Apple tech support. I am trying to network my PC and iBook. I am currently running a Dell Desktop with Windows 98SE. The iBook is using Jaguar. I have both computers connected to my Apple Airport router and they are sharing my DSL modem. The problem is printer sharing. I would love for the iBook to be able to use the PCs that are connected to the Dell via wireless connection. According to Apple, this can't be done. Let me rephrase, they stated that Windows 98SE isn't designed for networking. I know that I can always hard connected one of the printers to my iBook but this is not what I want to do. The way I figure it, here are my options:

1) If someone can hook me up with info on how to do this, I can give it a shot.

2) I can try to go for Thursby Dave 4.0 when it comes out officially and hope that works. From what I have heard, things are going a little slow with Dave.

3) I can always try to upgrade the PC side to Windows XP but according to Dell, they don't recommend upgrading my PC to XP. I guess because the PC is close to four years old.

4) Buy one of the new printers that will support the rendevous (excuse spelling). Apple has no idea when these printers will be released to the official market.

I am open to all and any suggestions. Thanks for anything
