Is it possible to file share my os9 mac with my osx mac while they are both using ppp over ethernet? i have been shutting down pppoe on my osx mac and starting up appletalk in order to fileshare the two (through the chooser on the os9 box).
i fileshare the osx box instead of the os9 box because i have some firewire drives i like to share with my non-firewire beige g3.
they are both connected to the internet using pppoe (macpoet for os9) and a speedstream external dsl modem (earthlink)...and a network hub.
also...hehe, i thought i would ask...is there anyway to use my cisco 678 router in conjunction with my speedstream in order to get some NAT services, and a hardware firewall?
thanks in advance
p.s. i hate pppoe
