My father is trying to set up an airport network with with cable modem, specifically Time-Warner RoadRunner. He has installed the cable modem on his iMac (that works fine while connected straight into the modem), then connected the airport base and uploaded the internet settings. After that the iMac shows that it is getting signal from the base station, but no internet connection seems to come through.

I think the problem is with the internet settings in the base station, but since we uploaded the settings that were working with the modem alone, I wouldn't know what to change.

Also the Airport manual says that some ISPs are not compatable with apple airpot. <b>Does anyone know if Time-Warner RoadRunner is compatable with Airport?</b> If some out there is using airport with roadrunner, please post a resonse or send me an email to help work this out.
