I am looking to get a 802.11b PCMCIA card, cardbus or otherwise, compatible with OS 9. Is there a particular brand that is generally recognized as a solid performer? Anywhere to get reviews/experiences of different cards?
I have heard of the following - Lucent Wavelan AKA Orinoco, Dlink, Cisco Aironet, Asante AeroLAN, and something put out by Linksys. I know nothing about any of these, except the Linksys is much cheaper than the rest. In terms of power consumption (i.e. laptop battery life) is there any difference between any of these?
Also, any word on a reliable 10/100 base T ethernet PCMCIA card would be great as well.
Thanks,
Tyler
