I have a Sony Vaio with Win2000Pro on my home AirPort network and it was quite easy to set up. I'm using an Orinoco WaveLan Silver card with the drivers from the install disk that came with the card. I'd say that's the one to use. I'm not using any encryption since it's a home LAN. Once the card is installed it should auto-detect the AirPort network. If not you need to run the IP Configuration command in the Run window.
