What's the ideal browser cache size?
Now that I'm on a cable modem, what's the ideal browser cache size to set? I understand that the stock 10mb might not be the fastest setting for a high speed connection. Thanks for any info.
I'd knock it down to 1 MB. if you find that page loading (of cached pages) is slower, then fele free to up it.
I think with a fast connection you better off just setting it to zero. I know some board members where having issue with MacNN a while back and doing this fixed it for them.
Anyway, with a fast connection like a cable modem I don't think your really going to gain anything by having a large cache. I've been running at 0 for years with no issues.
