I found these cursors over at SoftshapeArt when I was using WinXP.

Can anyone port these over to OSX (with the author's permission of course). I have yet to find cursors this beautiful.

er... In my opinion, they're not that hot. I'd like to get the old BeOS hand cursor. So nice and friendly.

I will be releasing this in the near future for use with a utility which is nering completion now, sure to be a big hit. It may be packaged as an option for the BeOSX theme too.

im usign the regular os x cursors in xp ontop of a litestep shell, its purty. =)

I think those cursors suck. They're fine in the crappy XP UI but they certenly doesn't fit in Aqua (themed or not).

I'd like to see a brushed metal cursor! In fact maybe I will make one in case that utility Swiz mentioned actually exists ;-]

The link in my opening thread is all I have. It's sweet and I think compliments OSX well.

ARENA: I wonder if I hadn't mention that it was designed for "WinXP" if that would have mattered. It just seems that some folks just don't like stuff just because it's related to Window somehow. Again, I respect personal preference but if you hate them just because it was made for WinXP then you just hate for the sake of it.

You or someone you know has made an app that will let people exchange all the cursors in OS X (arrows, waiting, everything) with whatever they like? And it will be easy to make your own cursors? Please, Bob, let this be so...

Ive been sworn to specifics secrecy but yes the app will make it VERY easy for you to do pretty much any damn thing you want with your cursor. It is being built by a very capable developer. Not too long now.

It doesn't sound very secret anymore! The brushed cursor thing didn't work out for me but then I got an even better idea. What do you guys think? I am a leftie, so that's how I made the cursor, but I made a right handed version too. And it looks great in use too because its light and dark areas make it visible on any background. I'm using it right now. This app will open up a new area of GUI customization. (if it really exists).
