Blank icon for a dock divider

I already posted this elsewhere (Lounge) and it quickly got lost in a sea of randomness. Anyway, I'd like to have a blank icon as a separator in my dock. Right now I use vertical lines that I got from someone here on the boards, but I'd prefer to just have blank space. I've tried with several different icon making apps, with no luck. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

I made my own separator after I heard how to make them. I've used them a long time and find them very nice and useful. If you want them I have uploaded them here:

The hardest part for me was trying to click them to drag them in!

Yeah, the hardest part is to get them into the dock! But I think they work great, I wonder why Apple does not have deviders for the dock to start with? I find that a line of icons is not easy to navigate..

I've noticed this among the (Hi I'm *)'s lately.

On a more relevant note, I can only drag the seperators into the right side of my dock.. The left side doesn't work! Am I doing something wrong?

not its normal, right side for apps, left side for folders

Sorry, you're wrong. Right side for folders and documents, left side for apps.

I got different seperators from a friend and they work wonderfully
