Xpression?

Anybody know much about this? Too bad it's $20. I noticed Adam Betts' Industech icons are included. That's cool.

What's wrong with good old candybar, does this app have any extra functionality over candybar which is only 13 $ ?

Maybe it lets you do icon sets? A huge oversite in Candybar. (changing from one overall icon 'look' to another is a pain in the ass, without sets)

just checked it's site and it will indeed change icon's in sets, but it is described as a 'Theme changer' that

which it clearly doesn't do.
It changes icon's and desktop pictures but dosent do anything with the 'Aqua' Gui. This product is not a Theme switcher.

Looks interesting. Since I don't have the latest version of CandyBar, can others who do comment on whether or not we can customize the finder and trash icons with CandyBar. If no then XPression will offer something unique.

Yep you can I think they introduced that in version 1.0.1

I know the guy that does Xpression, he told me that it does not alter the look of the entire gui (maybe in the future), it only changes the icons. The sets of icons are denoted as "Themes" which adds to the confusion, heh. The icon themes make it easier to change a whole slew of icons than be currently done in CandyBar.

Personally I think Xpression's UI is horrid. It's so amature in appearance. And WTF is up with that girl!

I prefer CandyBar because of it's FAR superior UI and it's ease of use.

I think the girl is Ellen Feiss (sorry if I get her name wrong), from the Switch ads. Not sure why they would need to place her there though. Prob make it more human interactive? Like there's someone guiding you along??

No, that girl hides in every one of freeverse's apps. It's weird too, cause she isn't near as good-looking as the freeverse monkey.
