iPhoto 2 amended .nib files
I thought I would post these here, as thay are useful for people who use themes.
As you have probably noticed the new iPhoto 2 still uses a 'built in' Brushed efect. This is more of an aesthetic problem for people who use OSX themes than most people as it makes the app still be brushed, no matter what the rest of the OS looks like.
So here are 2 amended .nib files to solve 'most' of this problem.
a regular 'Aqua' version
'REAL' (OS) Brushed metal
Replace the .nib file of the same name (after expanding) in the 'Contents/Resources/English.lproj' directory after doing a 'Show Package Contents' on iPhoto.
BACK THE ORIGINAL .NIB FILE UP FIRST
Thanks to 'a holck' in this thread for creating the 'Real Brushed' version. the switch to Aqua was simple from that.
Use these files at own risk yada, yada, etc, etc.

This is incredible! The problem is, the .sit file is apparently missing a couple tif files for the buttons on the right side of the window. The lower button to rotate the pictures has its image label, but the top 3 do not. Is the .sit file incomplete? Thanks

hi just acomment on a_holks iphoto aqua. for me all i did was dload his stuff then renamed my stuff .old or whatever ya like then put the files in the same place as the original, and alls good no missing buttons or anything. imho it looks way better than the standard apple stuff.
aloha
I knew that this .nib file was on here somewhere and all I can say is thank god! I don't know what they did in 10.2.5 to make iPhoto look so bad but this makes it usable again. Thanks a lot.
