Dock Position
I just started gettin into changing the appearance of OSX and i was wondering what the app was or mod was to change the position of the dock to the left or right while it is positioned on the bottom of the screen. i have seen this a few times and have wondered how it is done. Thanks!!
Apple Menu-->Dock--> there is a command to place it wherever.
Yes, I know of this, maybe i didn't specify what i meant. I have seen screenshots of modified desktops and i see docks position to the bottom left, or bottom right, not just bottom center. I don't believe there is a command in any menu for this action, if there is, wow, snuck by me!!
any more help is appreciated!!

Try ctr- (or right if you have it) clicking the seperator between the trash and the apps. It should pop up a contextual menu. It's all in there!

Actually that doesn't have the menu to pin. Unfortunately, the app Dock Manuevers doesn't exist anymore and I don't know the command for it
Goodness, that's bad news. I want it so bad, lol... My friends would get a kick out of it and then i'll get to tell them just to mess around with the dock preferences and they'll figure it out!
Thanks for the help, really, but if anybody knows where that app is or would mind emailing it to me, my email is Bateman1@mac.com
So thank you again, hopefully i'll get it workin!!

Transparent Dock does this, correct? If not, I'm sure it's still a plist option. Hold on, I'll check.
works for me, but it might be a mix of having transparent dock and/or tinker tool.. is that a possibility?

Hrm, I don't see it as an option in the defaults file, but try looking for transparent dock or Tinkertool at www.versiontracker.com/macosx/
It is definitely TransparentDock!
