Why Won't my feekin'...

OK, Why Won't my feekin' icons stay where I put them darn it!

I know this may sound sick, but I like to have them on the left side of the screen. It is more logical for me, as my windows all navigate from left to right (column view). So, to click open my hard drive at the left then move my mouse just a little to the right would make my life soooo much nicer!


please, please, please, help
