Need help: can't bring back old folder icons Troubleshooting 10 posts Feb 13, 2003 — Mar 29, 2004
I installed Rhapsodized awhile back and it replaced my default folder icons but now I can't get them back. I've tried all the Aqua restore programs I can find. Any help is appreciated.

here, uncompress this: http://thunder.prohosting.com/~dark...mIcons.rsrc.tgz

and put it in this folder:
/System/Library/CoreServices/SystemIcons.bundle/Contents/Resources

I believe this folder is protected, so you'll have to do a get info on it, click the lock icon and enter your user info to unlock it.
Thanks, that did it.
I have same problem...WOA and Rhapsody. WOA seems to mess things up and never go away. I can't decompress your linked file with Stuffit 8, any suggestions?
this is strange. i am having the same issues! i tried the dl link and it just crashes speeddownload....
any ideas? i'll try back later and maybe the link will work(?)
I have a second user on my mac wfor the sole purpose of restoring jacked up stuff. But, after CandyBar'ing a few times (restore defaults, restart, reinstall, etc.) Im good to go. There is a link http://www.xicons.com/help/ that explains where some of the icons are located, but, funny thing is they were all Rhapsodized there.
Well, all you really need to do is reinstall panther, right an email to iconfactory and they will send you an appp that fixes it ( i did that with mine) if its an application i hope u know that you can always press control x cause if u didnt.... well ill leav it at that....
All I have to do is reinstall Panther? Not an option. In any case, i got it to work again. Thanks.

I was having this issue too but when i switched themes and did another icon install with candybar it has corrected itself. not sure if this helps, but it might be worth a try.
