How's the Osmium Theme coming?
Anyone else working on any new Themes we can see?
Anyone else working on any new Themes we can see?
Here's where my slick Orange theme is at:

As you can see it has a couple of Aqua elements still floating around in there, so it's probably only at a .8 release right now. I'd like to finish it one of these days, but I've been really busy with my work lately. Maybe it'll be done in a couple of weeks...

wagmedia: how'd you do that nifty orange border along the entire window? I wanted to add a black border along the windows in the theme i'm working on but so far all parts that I need to edit have alluded me.
Hey, headbirth...thanks for asking. It figures, the moment I post sum'thing, I get too busy with work...oh, well I should not complain as I need the money. It will be awhile before I can get back to it. As of this moment I only have the title bar and none of the other gui elements worked out.
I also need to contact the original developer
and be sure I have his blessing to go forward with this.
Will try to do more work on it next week.

Oh good god, I want it...
Orange things are cool...
Yes...nice border wagmedia. Is it adjustable?
cre8tif - totally understand about not having time. I didn't realize this was a port of another theme. Is there a link to a screenshot of the other theme?

Actually it's an old Kaleidoscope Scheme called Osmium 76 by Romain Gauvin...he did some pretty cool Schemes that I used to use on OS9.
Here's the addy :

Search for "Osmium" once you get there.

BTW -- Nice screen Wag. I too would like to know how you got that orange border.

Sorry to burst everyone's bubble, but the line around the window was just put there in Photoshop because I wanted the window to show up when I posted it. There isn't a way to add in the border, the window background color is just specified with an 8 x 8 pixel swatch.
I'm glad people are liking it. I saw some people wanting a warmer theme, so took it upon myself to start one.
The one question I do have is how to change the blue color around the focused text field. I can't seem to do it in Cocoa apps, it seems to be baked into each app. Is there a way to change that color that I don't know about?

Like everything else is Cocoa apps, it's hard-coded into the OS. I think.

That's kind of what I thought. I definately didn't find a resource anywhere to alter it. I can't change the text fields in Cocoa apps either. Freakin annoying.....

Look at the set of pxm#'s that start with "Edit Text/List Box". The third image of each one seems to have either a blue or graphite colored glow. This might be what your looking for. =)

I just looked and I forgot that I've already changed those pxm#'s. Those resources only work in carbon apps. The cocoa ones still have that blue glow. I was hoping it would be one of the clr#'s, but I haven't found one that does it.
