Couldn't that same reasoning be used in about a million instances in mankind's history? Hasn't almost every nation been established at someone else's expense?
What about all the Jews that were forcefully expelled from Arabian lands and their property seized? And they were valuable members of their communities for centuries. There was an actual term for the dispersal but I can't recall it right now.
How's the Native American situation out there in St Louis? Still on the reservations?
You may make points in other areas but I hardly think anybody has the right to be self-righteous when it comes to appropriating land and establishing a nation-state. It's the story of civilization. Not to say it's acceptable in this or any case but it seems to be fact of life.
