Back to the topic at hand though. This is very scary and probably explains why Sadaam has only been lobbing SCUD and other missiles at Kuwait and not Israel. I'll give Sadaam this. He's been playing his hand very well.
All of this, including Syrian support for resolution 1441 may all be a plan culminating in Israel. It is hard to say right now. If a western front opens up though with the current Israeli mindset then we really are in trouble.
We also should remember that Syria also has chemical weapons and most likely a biological program. Recall the Syria refused to sign the chemical weapons treaty. Syria reportedly has SCUDS and more modern missiles with chemical warheads. There is one interesting site, albeit unfortunately a bit of an apologist for Israel.
