I was for a limited attack on Iraq, but always had misgivings. I think that having the entire mideast erupt in war would be bad - horrible even. Cataclysmic. It would probably lead to nuclear war.

However I do think that Syria, Iraq, and Lebannon and perhaps other sympathetic forces, might use this to end the Israeli issue once and for all.

I think that while the war was justified, that Bush's public relations in the world forum was horrible and incompetent. A lot of the blame goes back to that and his relative provincialism. That heavens for Blair for what little was done.

But I *don't* want Israel to become involved.
