The whole Fox News lineup is solidly in front of CNN's primetime lineup and MSNBC is "AMess"NBC. (haha)
On the radio today, Bill O'Reilly said that his Fox News show "The O'Reilly Factor" is topping all cable news shows and is closing in on broadcast television ratings.
This link shows the Nielson ratings for cable television (ALL OF CABLE TELEVISION, not just cable news) from 3/17 to 3/23:

Fox News programming takes the top two spots, 4 of the top 5 and 13 of the top 15 spots. CNN were the other two spots. Cable news beat out all other cable channels.
Obviously, world events have caused a spike in news interest, but even before that, Fox News was solidly on top of cable news ratings.
My question: Why do YOU think that is?
