You insult that concept by claiming Chomsky does it. He's as blind as the blindest hawk, just in the opposite direction. But that doesn't make him any better than them. Did I mention that he actually manages to be too paranoid about the US government, which is no small feat given how much paranoia about them is justified?

The man's not a total disgrace to academia, because he's done some very good work in his actual field. Unfortunately, outside of this field, he is the epitome of the arrogant, pretentious blowhard.
