That's a good observation. And I think most of us are more confortable with somewhere in the middle. And we end up being consistent in our everyday lives -- we don't care about race, we don't care about radical environmentalism, we don't care about the abortion issue, etc. And that's best.
The one thing that I hate most of all is spin, so if I've been rancorous of late it's somewhat because of the bait threads that certain folks have been posting. I think they've mostly cooled it now, which is good, but for a while there all we got to read about was how sh*tty the US was and how great everywhere else was, etc. Sorry, but I don't need to hear that: first, it ain't true, and second, I just don't need to hear it.
