CNN: "Leadership Strike" on Saddam
Anybody hear anything about this? CNN has just posted this bulletin:
U.S. officials tell CNN there was a "leadership strike" in Baghdad with a large amount of ordnance hitting a residence where Saddam Hussein may have been. Condition of Saddam is unknown. Details soon.

Hehe that Minister of Information is funny! I still remember the Information Minister of the Taliban Gov, I wonder whatever happened to him.
I doubt that Saddam was killed though, he has bunkers that can withstand nuclear attacks. But you never know...

I don't think it is that easy. Besides they might lose a lot of special forces guys trying to srrest him and extracate him from the building.
I heard that Saddams bunker is 200+ m underground. So I was just wondering one thing about these bunkerbusters. Can they really do any damage to a facility that deep?

well you could use 2. 1 2000 pounder to make the hole and a MOAB to finish the job. I'm sure that would have done it too.
