Yes.
My beef is when "expression" is barred by other laws...so, to give you an extreme example..say a religion cropped up that believed human sacrafice was an expression of their fath. No, it shouldn't be protected simply because it is religious expression.
The state should not impose religion, but it should not condon otherwise illegal acts for the sake of religion.
