For the same price as the iPod set-up I can listen to the CD-quality XM radio for about 32 years. REPEAT: 32 YEARS! I can choose between 100 stations, listen to music I would NEVER be exposed to and record it on a whim. But unfortunately I have to pay a monthly fee that I don't even notice. Plus I get the weather, news and comedy. And if I need to, I still have my CD player and AM/FM stations to listen to. But I haven't listened to a minute of AM or FM and I listened to about 15 minutes of one CD since installing the XM unit. Believe it or not, I would probably get bored with the same 4,000 songs on my iPod if I had one.
