O.K. the comment about paying for cable was dumb. I am very happily married and I probably wouldn't be if I cancelled cable TV. I really don't mind about the cable bill, cause I love being married. If I were singel though, I would cancel cable and buy a home XM unit too.

I think I already pointed out clearly how XM is VERY MUCH cheaper than buying all of that equipment to replace my stereo. Plus I'd hate wasting my time to make my own mix CDs. I'd still have to deal with changin CDs and with the way people are driving today I simply don't like being that distracted with it.

XM is the greatest for cross country trips. We will be able to listen to the same stations throughout the entire trip. We cancelled our plans to fly this summer and are going to drive now because of XM.

QUIT PAYING FOR CABLE, and purchase a new stereo for your car that can play MP3 CDs. Up to 10 hours of music on ONE cd. And it's all YOUR music. Just think, on a cross country road trip you'd need less than 10 CDs. easy.

PPS: I do understand. Paying for 'radio' is just ridiculous, and goes against the idea of radio itself.
