I think you have double standards regarding this issue. The practise of paying a corporation money in order to get entertainment and/or a convenient service is something everybody does. Whether you're buying a book, a car, a movie ticket, a newspaper, shoes, food, a computer, etc, you are paying for a big corporation to provide you with some convenient service.

If your principles were consistent in this manner, you would make your own clothing, grow your own food, build your own car, etc. But I doubt you do any of this, because it is too much of a hassle. So you, yourself, have fallen prey to "evil" corporations who profit from offering you services.
