I'm with your regarding a 15" iMac, but it's really meant for those people that:
a) already have a monitor (like when you have a 2 year old computer with a nice 19" - 21" CRT that still has life in it)
b) can't afford a flat screen (or even an eMac)
c) are looking for an inexpensive backup/server solution
d) wealthier people that have a PC and want to "try out" a Mac.
e) people that can't stand the design of the eMac and iMac.
f) cheap bastards
