That's just it. Not everyone has to like iTunes, but those who don't like it, generally go back to Winamp.

Windows Media Player is used by some, but it certainly isn't very popular.

And interestingly, Winamp's only encoder in version 5 is for AAC (not MP3), unless you pay extra.

By the way, ogg is supported by iTunes, if you download the QuickTime plug-in for it. You need a fairly fast computer for Ogg on iTunes though.
