I changed college from semester to quarter system.. it begins right at the week of the MWSF2004.

have foiled my plans to go. I would liked to have met up with everyone there once again, and of course get another cool badge from Demonhood. Maybe daimoni will show up this time...

I will most definitely attend MWSF (I go every year), given that I don't live too far away. I remember getting the reminder in the mail. It would be cool to see if I can briefly meet some of you guys there (you know, I can PM you my number and just meet at a certain location). Thanks for setting up this thread, DH!

This being the 20th anniversary of Mac is a powerful reason for attending. I really wish that I could attend. I feel sad that I can't, the cost is just too great.

Ditto. This is one MW I'd really like to attend but the cost is prohibitive. Just $1500-$2000 for the plane ticket.

Demonhood, do you normally need people's input on how they want their nametag designed or do you normally make it on your own ideas (no matter what I'm sure it will be a cool nametag - I had "Jansar Entertainment" on mine last year...haha)?

if i have no idea what they like (based on their posts, sig, username, etc..) then i usually ask for input.

of course, if the one i make sucks, you can always ask for another.

i would love to see what you could come up with me then.

Did some of you guys meet up last year? I was just curious because I'm going to be there and thought it would be cool to actually meet some of you there. We should make another thread closer to MWSF where we specify date, time, etc.

keynote tickets are kinda hard to come by I'd be going to it myself but 1. it's kinda early for me (I have to take bart and bus and there's no way I could be there by 9) and 2. too expensive.. sooo yeah

i am going to the expo on either the 8th or 9th. well, going to the exhibits.

I'm actually going to Macworld 2004 ... my first one, and I can't wait!

And I'd probably even wear an MacNN nametag there, too ...

we'll have to pick a date/time/location on which to meet. that's how it has worked the past few years. then i hand out the nametags (put them on the back of your MWSF badges). then, if any random MacNN'er sees it (as happened to me last year while standing in line for the keynote) you'll have an instant bond.

i'll get to work on the nametags in the coming week.

oh, and we can meet up for lunch like last year if people are up for it.

Yea, I should be there, this year, I'm staying at my parent's place for the keynote so I can actually watch it, but I'll be down afterwards.

I will be San Francisco that week any way so I will definately go to the exhibit, I'm guessing I will be able to tune into the Keynote via Quicktime.

Does any one know of a reliable WiFi point somewhere around the Convention Centre?

Will probably drop by and meet other Macnn'ers once the meeting point details have been finalised. I might even make a name badge.

Is there going to be an exhibit on monday or is it just tuesday? If I recall monday is only the keynote but just making sure.

for some reason, this was the first thing that popped into my head.

this is what i'll be wearing.

as for meeting up, i'll be at the keynote on the 6th, then the floor on the 6th and 7th (possibly the 8th, depending on conferences, travel plans, etc..).

we could either meet up on the 6th or 7th at...say 1pm at a specific booth. or we could meet outside (like last year) at 1 and head over to a restaurant to try to acquire some type of food substance.
