Apple, defective stuff or just bad luck?

There is just no way to get around having some defective products. I remember and Apple LCIII, that I had a lot of hardware problems. Didn't deter me from being a Mac enthusiast.

Yes, and at least they are now offering battery replacements for the iPod (although it is a bit pricey).

Most of the complaints pertain to a particular iBook model with dual USB ports, and many users say the problems started to show up just after the computer came out of warranty.

ouch.

For the most part I blame Apple for not admitting their problems in a timely manner nor offering acceptable solutions.

front page of cnet has a similar article...not good publicity at all. I personally have never had a problem with any Apple product I've owned....

the problem could be that apple doesn't manufacture or assemble anything. they just have a buiding in california someplace with a nice logo on it...oh and they make software.

A rather pointless sig to begin with, this is much too big (read the guidelines).
