Not to derail this thread but... I'm going to try anyway.
Many radio talk shows just plain scare me. The one-sidedness of some shows is awful, whether it's for the left or right.
Not only the lopsidedness of discussions (have people seen how guys like Chris Matthews on Hardball, or the O'Reilly factor guy, simply cut off their guests in the middle of making points that they don't agree with? Yeesh), but the constant yelling and bickering. Seriously, this is how adults go about talking about issues? Interrupting and yelling at each other?
Radio shows like Savage Nation (and the other one that comes on late at night here) are just scary - they probably upset many people's late night rest. They don't seem to accomplish anything, either.
Now, to show my real crazy side... I find a show like Coast to Coast AM much more valuable than a show like Savage Nation, simply because they discuss different topics, and not while yelling at the top of their lungs. Sure, crazy people come on there, too, but at least they're *obviously* crazy
Sorry to turn a thread so awry... but I really had to get that off my chest.
(I won't go off on things like Fox News, etc., since those networks are so worthless that I don't even want to take the time out of my day to type about them.)
