Any Apple Retail Store employees?

Good luck getting past their NDA. They can barely tell you anything about the job.

I've never worked there, but I've heard the salaries for non-managers are pretty bad.

NDA for a simple retail employee ? don't think so.

They don't allow you to discuss pay, benefits, discounts, etc. It is all under NDA.

I've heard the sales persons get paid minimum wage.

NDA? They probably aren't told sh*t from Apple.

They are probably not allowed to tell you they work for Apple.

Ask one in the store and they will say, "I don't work here".

Not like it costs Apple anything to have them sign an NDA. I could see them do it for retail employees just because Apple is so obsessively secretive. But is any company actually allowed make employees sign NDAs regarding discussion of pay and benefits? That seems wrong.

Oh well.

When I interviewed 2 years ago, they were paying Geniuses up to $40K a year.

That said, don't work there if you care about customers -- the managers appear to be only interested in people who will support corporate policy, not actually helping people. (The manager I spoke to talked in a shocked voice about how people come in and want support for non-Apple products they bought at the Apple store. The nerve!)

Anyway, some of their employees have mentioned that they're supposed to not post on forums and whatnot. I know for a fact that several Apple employees (retail store and otherwise) post here, though. (No, I won't say who they are!)
