Name for videography business
Yeah, need more description. I can say, don't go for an unoriginal name like Mike's video, or a 'play on words' name. When i start my own business, I'm gonna go with a random name like xerox so there's very few chance there's a duplicate. Then I'll it so no one else can steal it.
I disagree with the above.
You should name your business after what it encompasses. Being cute and creative doesn't cut it.
If you're just selling yourself then you can be say Wilson Videography (unless of course that name is already taken). Eventually you'll probably just go with an anacronym or use your initials.
In the videography business contacts and referrals go much, much further than a creative name.

Thanks for the replies. I specialize in marketing videos for schools. Weddings might be something I do to get a little extra cash during down times...far from what my focus would be on. I don't know why I can't come up with anything decent for a name. Acme video just doesn't seem to cut it (saw too much road runner/wiley coyote cartoons growing up).

Xeo, thanks for taking time from your adventures in Japan to post your idea. I spent a summer in Tokyo many years ago. I stayed at the Kodokan. Any chance of going to Kyoto? I took the bullet train there and really enjoyed the visit. Hakone National Park was enjoyable too. Are there still "beef bowl" restaurants there? Hope your having fun.

Beef bowl restaurants... probably. Don't know what they look like on the outside though. Raman and udon shops are everywhere though. Wouldn't mind finding a beef bowl place. I don't think I've eaten any red meat since I got here. Maybe once in curry. Oh, and McDonalds...
