When religion says it's OK to murder, crucify, and persecute people who aren't of the same religion, belief structure, or apparent moral standard, the problem IS religion. When people do the afore mentioned in the name of religion, the problem is religion.

"But you need people to carry out those acts of violence!" Yeah, and you need religion to justify it and settle your conscience.

True evil is blind, ignorance is stupidity.
