So the bank that I work for is having me get my Series 6 and 63 Licenses here in the State of California. They have an amazing program in which they are training me and paying for everything, but dear god...the material that I am learning is so incredibly unlike any other subject covered in mainstream school that it is just amazingly hard to learn and retain. In 5 weeks, I am expected to learn everything on the Series 6 and 63 exam and then take the test and pass it. I'm sure many of you have experienced this with post-school schooling, but I feel like I have lost about 50% of my brain. I can't concentrate on the material in the books, I drift off constantly and have to reread chapters, and I feel like I am understanding the material, yet I cannot retain it! Very frustrating.
