"In this round, the music labels sued 482 people located in St. Louis, Denver, Washington, D.C., and New Jersey. The industry has sued 3,429 people since launching its lawsuit campaign last September.
None of the cases has gone to trial. Hundreds of defendants have opted to settle with the industry for around $3,000 each."
