I have a 2nd Generation iPod with all the moving parts ready for accepting grime. It still functions. So does my cassette recorder from the 1970's and that has almost nothing BUT moving parts to get grime and dust in. Shouldn't either of them be ruined by now? I'll take a sensible, logical button placement that I can use without looking over cool glowing touch sensitive "buttons" that give no tactile feedback whatsoever.
