DesktopPC for gaming and other things. Portables...always stay mac. Games are OK...not great..but getting better. But video card issues will arise within the first year and a half of ownership. Those laptops are cool but,
17inch Powerbook 6.7 Pounds
Alienware laptop I would gest way over 10 pounds.

Also many of the 17 inch Windows laptops out there have power adapters that weigh more than my 12incher.
