That's essentially my disappointment... that this "bump" is merely a "tide-over." 970MP and 970GX I believe haven't even been "officially announced" by IBM. Which is why I speculated price drops.

One issue there is that when really new machines comes out, will pricing raise? i.e. a dual 2.7 priced at 2800... does it go back up to 3 grand when a machine with some new technology emerges?
