I'll suggest you to look for firmware updates for your router and search the official WOW forums for router related issues. It appears that there are certain router models that doesn't work to well with WOW when brand specific technologies are turned on on the router. Further, I would applied bug/support report to those companies that are in charge, Blizzard etc, where you find it appropriated.
