Tiger and an old Epson 640 Printer

I have an old Epson Stylus 640 which keeps chugging along. It worked fine under 9.2.2, worked great in 10.3 and ran under Classic just fine. I just installed Tiger, and it no longer works under 10.4. I get an error message in the Printer dialog box that reads "The process "rastertoprinter" stopped unexpectedly with status 2." So what's going on here?

I checked the Epson site and they don't appear to have a System X driver for the 640. Yet it worked fine under 10.3.

Got any ideas for me?

According to that, you need to have the GIMP-Print driver installed in order for it to work.
