I guess the reason its so vague is I'm just looking for more information on the way MAC handles ICS but I've found a bit of info on it now. Here is what I am trying to do.
I have a Sonos Zone Player that needs to get out to the internet for updates, internet radio, ect. I have my internet connection through wireless to my land lord up stairs. I am connecting the ZP (zone player) to my ethernet port and trying to get the MAC to share the connection.
The ZP will pull a DHCP address on power cycle but if it cannot complete its request it will assign an AutoIP which it is doing. I am trying to find a way to either NAT that AutoIP or possibly figure out why its not recieving a DHCP when if I connect a laptop, I am able to release and renew the IP just fine.
Hope that makes things less vague.
Thanks for the time guys,
Nick
