Will they install it in your unit if you take it in? Or are they adamant about only installing it in the latest G5's? I am sure there are some employees of Apple that read this board, and they probably my posts that it works on the older G5's (but Apple insiders know this). I guess I just got lucky in getting mine the way I did. I can tell you that mine zings and I love it.
