Why couldn't you watch h.264 on your laptop screen? It should look better than MPEG4. Unless you mean you will be encoding at a larger resolution?

ok i found a way to get it working, after you encode the movie as h.264 with handbrake it will result in an .mv4 file, open the file up in qt7.0.3 pro, and export to ipod video... …
