As long as it's the lower density stuff with chips on both sides it should work. Sometimes high density works but I've never had great luck with it in those machines.

For the 83Mhz bus you need pc100 ram, same with the early wallstreets that used 83Mhz FSB.

If you're comfortable with the soldering, 50Mhz x 2 will help. It's likely that's all you'll get - most early G4 CPUs you could only get another 50Mhz before it crapped out. JB
