No!! You cannot do that! Pismo and Wallstreet use completely diferent ram standards. Pismo uses PC100 and Wallstreet uses SDRAM.

Yeah, that seems to be how SDRAMs work. They just run at the lowest supported speed when multiple modules are detected.
