The current enclosure appears to have a large enough bezel to support a 14" screen, but I doubt we'll see 15" MacBooks anytime soon.

Umm....How are they dictating what screen size you need? They do have a 15.4" screen, but in a higher-end model. If you really need it that badly, you'll have to pay for it.

If they make a 15.4" Macbook, that means they are going to sell less Macbook Pro's. They are never going for the 15.4" screen in my opinion.
