Lookee What I Just Got .... — #7

Looks pretty nice, not too terribly yellowed.. though for $110 I'd want more than a 30MB HDD and 8MB RAM.

You had better be sure that you make good use of that Mac Classic II! You'll have to use it for something useful, every day, to make up for that price!

iBook G3 — #3

The iBooks are always interesting; they take beatings well enough, which is good because they're such a horror to get into. Great score, hopefully you can get the little bugger go…

The only dead motherboard I cannot revive (so far) by replacing capacitors is one from an 840av that has some gook under important chips. I can't tell from your picture how much co…

Mac II vs IIx — #12

Personally, if you've got a IIx, I'd leave it as a IIx if possible - remember, although the IIfx is much faster, if you upgrade it with a IIfx mobo, you'll have a IIfx, complete wi…

Classic II — #3

I just recapped my Classic II, a bit of a pain because everything is cramped but doable. You need 3 different values, maybe 13 total aluminium capacitors going from memory.
